Get a Facebook verification code with a temporary number
Facebook accepts email sign-ups, but its checkpoint system leans hard on SMS: new accounts, logins from new locations and anything flagged by its automation all get the 'confirm your mobile number' screen. Meta also uses phone numbers for ad targeting and friend suggestions — two good reasons to keep your real number out of the account entirely.

How to verify Facebook without your own number
Pick Facebook below and get a disposable number in the country your account belongs to. Enter it at the checkpoint, read the confirmation code from your Line dashboard, and you are through. For business use — a page admin account, a test profile for ads QA — this keeps work accounts cleanly separated from anyone's personal identity.
Get a Facebook number
Pick a country below and we reserve a temporary number that can receive Facebook's verification SMS. It is yours for the rental window and never linked back to you.
Enter it on Facebook
Create the account with an email address, then enter the temporary number when Facebook asks you to confirm with a mobile number — or use the number directly at sign-up.
Read the code in your dashboard
The 5–6 digits code appears in your Line dashboard the moment Facebook sends it — usually within seconds. Copy it into the app and the number retires itself.

If the Facebook code does not arrive — the usual causes, and the fix.
Most failed verifications come down to one of these. And if nothing works, the refund is automatic.
Facebook checkpoint asks for the number repeatedly
Finish the confirmation in one browser session. If Facebook re-prompts, it usually accepts the same temporary number again while your rental is active — later codes arrive in the same dashboard thread.
'This number has been used too many times'
Meta caps how many accounts one number can confirm. Cancel the rental for an automatic refund and take a fresh number.
Code arrives but the page has moved on
Checkpoint screens time out quickly. Re-open the confirmation prompt and request a new code rather than reusing the old one — Facebook invalidates prior codes on each resend.
Facebook verification FAQ
Confirm a Facebook account by SMS without giving Meta your personal number.
Why does Facebook want my phone number?
Officially for security — account confirmation and recovery. In practice the number also feeds friend suggestions and ad matching. Confirming with a temporary number passes the security check while keeping your personal number out of Meta's graph.
Can I remove the number after confirming?
Yes. Once the account is confirmed and has a solid recovery email, you can delete the phone number in Settings → Mobile. The confirmation sticks even after removal.
Is this allowed by Facebook?
Facebook requires accounts to represent a real person and prohibits fraud and ban evasion. Using a privacy number to confirm a legitimate account is a personal-privacy choice; using it to run fake profiles is not, and Line's acceptable use policy prohibits that too.
How much does a Facebook verification cost?
You pay per verification with prepaid credits (1 credit = 1p). A Facebook number costs from £0.60 in the UK, and prices vary a little by country — the table above shows every option. There is no subscription and no monthly rental.
What if the code never arrives?
If Facebook does not deliver a code before the temporary number expires, your credits are refunded automatically. You can also cancel a waiting number yourself for an instant refund. You only ever pay for a verification that works.
Is this legal to use?
Yes — receiving a verification SMS on a number you rent is lawful. What matters is what you use it for: verifying your own legitimate accounts and protecting your privacy is fine; fraud, ban evasion or breaking Facebook's terms is not, and is prohibited by Line's acceptable use policy.
